Farahzad, located in the northwest of Tehran, is one of the city’s historic neighborhoods. Its name comes from its refreshing and cheerful climate. Known as one of the most pleasant areas of Tehran, Farahzad attracts both locals and tourists throughout the year. Situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level, it extends northward to the foothills of the Alborz mountain range. The area is also famous for its many traditional restaurants, where authentic Iranian dishes are served.
